Lisbon Community Center
The Lisbon Community Center is an offshoot of the group which established the first Lisbon Fall Festival in 1981.
The property is located in the northeast corner of the Lisbon Meadows Park, which included a building known as "The Barn", was leased from the town in 1993 with the intent of renovating it into a community center.
Many Committee members and many tasks later, a brand new building opened as the Lisbon Meadows Park Community Center in 2003. The post and beam structure replaces the 1800's style barn which was lost to fire in 1997. The lower level is used for storage and the upper level for activities.
The Center hosts the annual Lisbon Fall Festival and is available for use by any Lisbon resident from April 1 through October 31 (closed from Nov. 1-March 31). The space is completely handicapped accessible and ideal for meetings, fundraisers and other activities permitted under the Center regulations
